Belfry Flight

They only turn up after dark.

Twelve of them, flat black and easy to miss in daylight — until the light goes and the wings fill with a cold green glow. Hang them across a porch ceiling, down a stairwell, over a doorway, and let people spot them one at a time.

The trick isn't the bats. It's the pause when someone realises how many there are.

What's in the box

  • Set of 12 hanging bats
  • Green glow through translucent wings
  • Wings set in different positions, so a group never reads as a repeat
  • A hanging loop on each one

Good to know

  • Spread them wide rather than clustering — a flight looks like a flight when there's air between the bats.
  • Hangs from a ceiling, a beam, a doorframe or a branch. No tools.
  • Fold flat into the box at the end of the season.
